Update on the missing ctrl tab functionality

I'm fairly new here, so I can't figure out what it means that a new SPR has been created?

When will this be solved? This thread is back from 8 months ago, has anything happened since?

The ctrl+tab functionality is essential, especially since every other program out there has it (or sometimes ctrl+pageup/down), so it becomes such a natural habit to use that instead of the dreaded mouse.

The current alternative with ctrl+F8 followed by arrow down and enter is useless.
